Ducktrap Retreat: Lincolnville Maine wedding

The Ducktrap Retreat is one of my favorite wedding venues to shoot at. It’s just so perfect with it’s secluded grounds where guests can stay in their gorgeous cabins. I shoot a couple weddings there every year and it’s always a treat to go back.  This past summer was no exception. I am truly sad to hear that this summer is the final summer of weddings at this venue. It’s being sold and will no longer be a wedding venue. I guess I’ll have to hope for more weddings just up the road at Point Lookout. (click HERE to see former wedding shot there.)

This is the first of two picture perfect weddings I shot at the Ducktrap Retreat this year. Everything was perfect on this day…the weather was beautiful (though very hot!) the details fell together seamlessly and the wedding party and guests were a ton of fun!

The Landing at Pine Point is a beautiful location for a wedding any time of the year but summer on the beach is particularly gorgeous! Of course you have to be ok with a few passer by’s watching the ceremony but in my opinion they just add fun details to the day!

Here’s another great wedding shot at The Landing. The wedding party was super fun, the bride and groom were super cute and the day went off without a hitch! What more can anyone ask for.

Paris Maine wedding: Maine wedding photographer

I’ve decided Paris hill is one of my new coveted Maine locations. This summer I did my second wedding in that area and I feel like I was made to live there. The history, country feel and home town “maine” feel of this location makes me feel right at home.

Amanda and Jason’s wedding day was gorgeous! A crisp and beautiful day. Lots of stunning sunshine. Gorgeous details and vintage touches….not to mention photos with all their adorable little dogs.  It was really a fun wedding.

Thanks Amanda and Jason for taking me along on your fun filled day. Amanda, let me know if your parents ever want to sell their house!!
