Shooting fireworks is always a treat but it can also be tricky. I’ve had a couple opportunities to shoot shoot them at weddings and when I was looking back through my files I remembered that this particular time, at the Harborside Hotel in Bar Harbor, Maine, was one of my easiest times capturing their beauty. The fog off the water created a sky of color with each sparkle of light and the lit up pool gave me light in the foreground…..a beautiful combination don’t you think!
